This weekend was amazing, and made me realize just how happy I am. My life is finally my own, I'm finally figuring out who I am on the inside, and I've surrounded myself with people that make me happy.
For today's post, I've linked up with Meghan over at Crazy Casa K for her Happy Monday segment. This Monday we are talking about Happy People. After you all read about my happy people, you should definitely head over there and read some of the other posts from the link up. The more you indulge in happy, the more it spreads- it's like an amazing rash that you want to have.
Holy crap, how awesome would it be to have the 'Happy Rash'? People walk by you on the street and say, 'Wow, she has the Happy Rash all over her. I wish I had the Happy Rash. Maybe I'll go stand next to her and see if I can catch it.'
Sorry, I digress. Back to Happy People...
Saturday night was spent with my family- my Happy People. We went shopping, had dinner out, grabbed custard and came home. Great ending to a great day.
Sunday I planned to spend the whole day with my family. Y'all should know by now that I'm huge on family. When you spend 3 years separated from your best friend and husband, bouncing around from coast to coast
and making mistake after mistake, the greatest gift you can every receive is putting your family back together and making it work. Hubby, The Girl and The Ginger are my core Happy People. While they drive me up the wall and cause me to need coffee time with my friend, they are still my stability and my everything. So my birthday was spent with them. I relaxed and watched Grey's Anatomy while they straightened the house and ran to get me beautiful flowers and amazing chocolate truffle cake. They cooked me dinner and then cuddled with me on the couch while we watched a scary movie. They helped make my birthday perfect- the first birthday of mine that we've all been together, and happy, in 7 years. Holy crap, thinking back that far and counting it out is an eye-opener. 7 years of something missing on my birthday. Wow.

My best friend back east- another one of my Happy People- called and sang me a
Overall, my birthday was amazing. Today Hubby has off from work and the kids are home from school thanks to MLK Day, so we are going to play games, put together a puzzle and watch movies- more happy time with my Happy People.
Seriously, how could these people not make me smile? I asked them on Thursday what they had planned for my birthday weekend:
The Girl: A big sign that says 'Congratulations, you're old.'
The Ginger: A trip to Poopland, where everything is made of poop.
Hubby: How about we get a few rounds of ammo and go shooting??
Those are my Happy People...
